SUPPORT US THROUGH WORKPLACE GIVING

The Boys & Girls Club of El Dorado County Western Slope is a member of United Way, which works to promote charitable giving through workplace giving campaigns. Through these campaigns you may pledge a specified amount from each paycheck to be automatically deducted. Your donation will have an immediate impact in helping us continue to provide a safe and positive place for kids. United Way is focused on the results: the lives we change and the communities we shape. We know that's what matters to you. When you fill out your pledge for the campaign, use our agency code: 11866. Some local employers who participate in an annual United Way workplace giving campaign:

  • El Dorado County
  • Marshall Medical
  • Intel Corporation
  • GenCorp

If you work for a local employer who has an annual United Way campaign and they are not on this list, please let us know and we’ll add them right away.

>JOIN US FOR HEROES NIGHT – OUR ANNUAL AUCTION AND DINNER
Contact Us

Heroes Night is our annual dinner with a silent and live auction and happens in January. Board and community members work hard to bring in quality auction items. Board member Jim Carter is our our auctioneer - and his humor and talent help us raise large support for our programs. The evening is very casual with short “speeches”, kids performing, and recognition of sponsors. In the past we have had almost the entire event donated with very little cost which allowed for more of your donations going toward programs. We would like to thank the following contributors to our 2008 Heroes Night:

This event took place this year on Tuesday, June 26th and was a roaring river of fun. Great Opportunity for Team Building, Employee Incentives & Rewards, Family Togetherness, Good Old Curl-Your-Toes Thrill Ride on the Scenic American River. This event would not be possible without the tremendous generosity of the American Whitewater Rafting Association.
